Davis has put her own twist on the iconic character of Alice from “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” Davis is naturally drawn to elements of composition and color when creating. She sets out to experiment with those two elements in a variety of ways, through figurative painting, nonrepresentational painting, photography, and sculptural work. She has made a recent return to figurative painting, communicating the figure, specifically the feminine.
